Vanessa is one of my dear friends. We met each other 8 years ago as first year teachers. We were both teaching 5th grade at the time. A few years into teaching and she asked me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding and I was honored. We have gone our separate ways career-wise but still keep in touch.
