Baby Ella’[s mom is a dear friend of mine. She was supposed to come into the studio at 5 days old but instead made her appearance at 16 days old. This little angel had to spend some unexpected time in the NICU, delaying how quickly mommy and daddy could take her home. I have to admit, I was nervous to do a photo session with a newborn older than 2 weeks (best around days 5-9) but she was amazing. Little sweetheart slept the entire time and was so content. My itch for a second baby has been kicking in big time lately, and little Ella made it even worse! 
And just so you can see that the safety of the baby is ALWAYS put first in every situation. Mom and dad are ususally close by in every shot to spot. Please never attempt to “hang” a baby.
