getting older

I really wish he could stay a newborn forever. But sadly that stage is ending. Although I love everything about a baby, and every single stage of their first year, newborn is my favorite. Its also the most challenging stage. But I don’t know I just love it. My best friend had her 2nd baby yesterday and when she called me today, I could hear the gentle little baby noises he was making as we were talking on the phone. And although my little guy is just 2 months old, it made me realize that he doesn’t make those sounds so much anymore. He is changing so quickly and I am having a really hard time with that. It is so so important to me to document all these stages because they go by so fast and I don’t want to forget a single thing. His smell. His sounds, everything.
