My fall schecule was very booked with maternity, newborn and baby sessions, that I hardly had any dates left for holiday family sessions. But I am so glad that this repeat client family booked early enough so that I could get them in! The light was GORGEOUS and so are the subjects. Bonus points if you recognize the dad…!!!

One of my favorite things that photography gives me is the chance to meet new babies all the time and to connect with their mamas. Even better when photography brings me back in touch with old friends. Just lately I have been reconnected with high school friends who have had babies. What a great thing! I get to snuggle and love their babies while catching up and reminiscing on old times.

Like I said before, I just love babies! Babies of all ages. Isabella has been a little client of mine since she was in her mommy’s belly. They did a maternity session, newborn, 3 month, 6 month, 9 month and now a 1 year session. I love when families truly appreciate documenting their baby’s first year. It goes by too fast, take it from me!

For Isabella’s one year session, I was certainly hoping for some more sun. We had an overcast, chilly day instead. I have so many visions in my head for this session, from a tea party, to birthday balloons to vintage suticases. Just love this little lady!

What a little thing! Just 6 pounds of goodness. As little as he was, his grip was amazingly strong. Baby Shea is the son of one of my childhood friends. So happy that photography can bring us together again after many years!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I just LOOOOOVVVEEE babies. I mean love. One of the best things about being a baby photographer is how I get to surround myself with babies of all ages. It brings me back to the days I had with my son when he was a baby. I loved every single month of that first year, from newborn to sitting up to eating solids. It such an amazing time.

Wow. What a dream this little angel was! Not only was she beautiful, but she slept the ENTIRE session and without a single fuss. I was so excited for this session, as mom is a former co-worker of mine from my earlier teaching years.

So I think I finally figured out what I want to be “when I grow up”. My passion for newborn photography grows and grows each session. How could you not love doing this?!?!?!?
