GOLDEN SESSIONS
My family recently lost both of our family dogs of 16 years. Even though we knew our dogs were aging, it is still painful to lose a dog because they truly are members of our family. I will be forever grateful that I was able to capture some last minute images of our oldest old dog and our last moments together before saying goodbye. And that is the gift I am able to share with you - Golden Sessions!
Who are Golden Sessions for?
You know your dog’s end of days are nearing. You want to celebrate your special family member with one last photo session that promises to capture his/her personality. You want long lasting images that you will cherish forever.
What can I expect at a Golden Session?
Golden sessions are 1 hour and include your immediate family and of course, your senior dog. They can take on an level of emotion that you see fit. I can come to your home and capture those last tender moments - snuggling on the couch, your pup begging for food, looking out the window - basically any normal day to day activity, but with an emphasis on your relationship and intense connection. Or, we can instead celebrate your dog’s life by meeting at a location that is special to your pet - a park, a trail, a downtown area… you name it. The options are really endless. I really want to tell the story of your dog and his/her place in your family. Before the session date, we will discuss the location as well as the emotional feel of the images you are looking for.
